My name is Melanie Watters, and I am currently a fourth grade teacher. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Alabama. I continued my education at UWA, obtaining a Masters in Elementary Education and an Instructional Leadership Certification.

With 11 years of experience at Grove Hill Elementary School, I have had the privilege of teaching and supporting students in their academic and personal growth. Currently, I serve as the Program Director for the Grove Hill Afterschool Adventure 21st Century Community Learning Center, where I focus on creating engaging learning experiences beyond the school day.

Outside of education, I am a proud wife and mother of three wonderful children-two daughters and a son. I am committed to making a positive impact in the lives of students and families in our community.
