• Hello, I'm Karen Pierson Clanton and I just started work at Wilson Hall Middle School this school year; although I have been employed for the Clarke County School System for 23 years. I began work at Jackson Middle School where I remained for 20 years, I then transferred to Grove Hill Elementary where I stayed for two years, and now here at Wilson Hall Middle School.

I graduated from High School in 1977 from Washington County High School in Chatom, AL. I went to Faulkner Junior College in Bay Minette,Al for a year then transferred to Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.

I've lived in a number of states as my daddy was in the Air Force, but my home is in Coffeeville, Al. I'm married to my best friend, John D. Clanton we have 2 cats, and two dogs, a female bulldog, Lily and a female beagle, Cheyenne. I have three children, Jared David Strong, Whitney Erin (Strong) Standefer and Wesley Earl Strong. I have five grandchildren.

I was an Art major, so I love to draw and paint, I enjoy hunting and fishing and I love being in the outdoors.
