Students may use the center before school, at lunch, and during class

The center is open during all lunch waves

Sixteen computers are available for student use to include research, AR testing, school projects, test preparation and card catalog search

A printer is available and copies may be made for 15 cents a copy

Over 100,000 Accelerated Reader tests now available to students through Renaissance Live!

Library operates under the automated system of Atriuum which allows students easy access for self check-in and self-check out and the ability to search for books using OPAC, creating more independence.

ALABAMA VIRTUAL LIBRARY
The Alabama Virtual Library provides all students, teachers, and citizens of the State of Alabama with online access to essential library and information resources. It is primarily a group of online databases that have magazine, journal, and newspaper articles for research. Through the AVL, an equitable core of information sources is available to every student and citizen in Alabama, raising the level of excellence in schools and communities across the state.
The Alabama Virtual Library can be accessed through school computers or home computers. To access the AVL at home, a person must have an AVL card. AVL cards may be obtained by students through the media specialist at school.
