    Notice of Cybersecurity Incident

We want to let you know about a recent cybersecurity incident involving PowerSchool, the software we use for our Student Information System (SIS).

On January 7, 2025, PowerSchool informed us that they experienced unauthorized access to some customer data, including contact information like names and addresses for some of our families and educators.  They are still investigating whether any additional information, such as personally identifiable information (PII), was affected. Importantly, social security numbers were not involved,

There is no need to contact the school administration, your student's teacher or the Board of Education Office.  PowerSchool is working quickly to complete their investigation, and we'll share updates as soon as we have more information.  If needed, they will provide resources like credit monitoring or identity protection services to those impacted.

We take student privacy and security very seriously, and we appreciate your understanding as we work through this with PowerSchool.
