*I graduated high school from Grove Hill Academy in 1999.

*I attended  Jefferson Davis Community College on a softball scholarship and graduated with my Associates Degree in 2001.

*After attending JDCC, I went to the University of West Alabama. I graduated from UWA in May of 2004. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

*I graduated from UWA in 2007 with my Master's in Education.

· I taught first grade for 2 years.

· I am currently in my 15th year of teaching second grade.

· I am considered Highly Qulaified by the State of Alabama.

· I am AMSTI, ARFI, and ARI trained.

· I am also trained in YPP.

· I am trained to teach Scott Foresman Reading Street.

· I am trained in GO Math! And Wonders Reading.

· I am a member of the District Math Team for Clarke County.

· I am a member of the ACIP team for Gillmore Elementary School.

· I am grade level chairperson for Second grade teachers.  

· I am on the ARI Leadership team.
