The Department of Business and Finance provides overall fiscal management for the Clarke County Schools. The functions of the department include budget development, financial management and reporting, accounting, payroll, accounts payable, risk management, and employee benefits. The department provides information and services to various groups. These groups include employees, School Board members, school and district staffs, citizens, and the Department of Education on both the State and Federal levels.
