Attendance Matters!

Each year, the Alabama State Department of Education scores all state schools and gives each a grade.

ACADEMICALLY, we scored a "B" as we had 84% growth in student achievement.  This is great news!  However, our grade for ATTENDANCE was NOT good as we had about 23% of our students who missed 18 or more days.  If students are absent 18 or more days, even if excused by doctor, it is considered CHRONIC ABSENTEEISM

Chronic absenteeism is detrimental to our school. 

Please make sure your child attends every day!
