Jackson High School Aggies
2024 4A Basketball State Champions
The Jackson Aggies triumphed over American Christian to become the 2024 4A Boys' Basketball State Champions for the first time in school history! Micah Caster led the way with an impressive 30 points and was named MVP. It’s a great day to be an Aggie!

Clarke County Teacher of the Year
The Clarke County Board of Education was pleased to celebrate our Teachers of the Year at our February meeting held Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Jackson City Hall. We would like to offer special congratulations to Amy Davis of Grove Hill Elementary School for being named the Elementary Teacher of the Year and Mary Sharp Robinson of Clarke County High School for being named the Secondary Teacher of the Year for Clarke County Schools. Congratulations also to Jessica Pettway for being selected as the Alternate Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to all our winners!

Clarke County State DECA Conference Winners
In February, 36 students from Jackson High School and Clarke County High School competed at DECA state conference. This conference is highly competitive with over 900 competitors from across the state and includes schools like Hoover, Thompson, Spain Park, and many more. Camp Engage for new teachers is in the books!
We are so thankful our teachers who are new in their careers had the opportunity to hear Dr. Allan Allday from the University of South Alabama today.
Dr. Allday is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and gave teachers practical advice for helping students and teachers succeed!

On June 29, 2023, Ashlie Adams Flowers was sworn in as Clarke County School Districts first female superintendent. She will complete the term vacancy left as a result of Mr. Larry Bagley's retirement.
